The move, day 1

We have officially started day one of phase two. (god this sounds so technical.) Anyway, it went better than i expected. the family friend was rather decent, and kept telling me how this house is one of the easier he's dealt with, which was very refreshing. i hope to do my best not to fight him or make trouble. he also said he might buy the place and help me out. so i may even have a buyer. i hope it continues to go well.

Today's progress....i will hopefully save 85 dollars on shipping the bug to new york, i was able to secure transport for the cats from a nurse who works on mum's floor. he's very sweet, and extremely helpful. he's also very polite. i had told him over the weekend that i would be moving to new york in coming weeks, and he asked for my address when i have one and asked if he could visit sometimes. i said i'd be so happy for it. he's like a brother to me. i asked him today if he'd help me by bringing the cats up to the apartment when im ready because to ship cats this far its at least 400 bucks a piece which is not in my budget. im already going

Wrangling wednesday

Continuing with this huge project, i'm now back to some shipping details. (btw i keep documenting this whole thing for anyone else who may benefit from it.) anyhoo....i could not find anyone who would drive the bug from here to flushing even if i payed for gas. yet, im going to try to keep it if possible. i found that you can have your car shipped to another state. it will cost u a few hundred, but im not quite ready to gibe up my dream car yet! now, the next issue is getting the cats up since taking them up in the bug is out of the question. and if u wonder why *i'm* not driving up myself, i never drove there. i always feel alseep in the bus
